i thank You God for most this amazing
day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes

(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun’s birthday; this is the birth
day of life and of love and wings: and of the gay
                                          great happening illimitably earth)

how should tasting touching hearing seeing
                                          breathing any–lifted from the no
                                          of all nothing–human merely being
                                          doubt unimaginable You?

(now the ears of my ears awake and

A Prayer for Quiet Confidence

A Prayer for Quiet Confidence

O God of peace, who has taught us that in returning and rest we will be saved, in quietness and confidence will be our strength: By the might of your Spirit lift us, we pray, to your presence, where we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Hello October!

To celebrate the beginning of October, I'm back to packing meals for the longer days in my Edgar Allen Poe lunchbox. (‪#‎BeJealous‬) I went ahead & bought a bag of chocolate eyeballs too (from CVS). I'm sure I'll be having a "Poe-boy" sandwich sometime during the month, but today is salad :-)
